About the role

User Interface Senior Principal Engineer

Everything we do, we do with our customers front of mind. Our User Interface (UI) Engineering team leads the design and evaluation of technologies that make our innovative, game-changing products as easy to use as possible. We apply a user-centered, iterative design process to deliver usable interface designs across hardware and software products. We collect and make good use of a broad range of data and employ human factors engineering principles to identify and resolve usability problems and gain insights that influence product design and development.

As a Senior Principal Engineer, you will design robust interaction architectures and accessibility patterns for flagship experiences. You will lead quantitative and qualitative studies that inform product decisions.

Essential Requirements

12+ years of related experience in a professional role or equivalent experience

Ownership of pattern libraries and accessibility standards for complex systems.

Strength in mixed-method research and insight synthesis.

Experience driving remediation and embedding testability in features.

Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines.

Desirable Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Engineering, Computer Science).
