Software Product Manager (SPM) – AI Wearables (AIW) Team Motorola Mobility | Mobile Business Group (MBG) Role Summary At Motorola, we build world-class mobile and wearable experiences on a foundation of Android, focusing on delivering meaningful, customer-centric innovations.  As a Software Product Manager (SPM) on the AIW team, you will define, drive, and deliver software products that leverage on-device AI and wearable innovation. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, partnering closely with engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders to transform AI-driven concepts into impactful customer experiences across Motorola devices. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered wearable and mobile experiences Translate emerging AI capabilities (e.g., on-device AI, contextual intelligence) into differentiated user value Identify market opportunities and drive competitive positioning aligned to Motorola’s software philosophy  Execution & Delivery Own end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through launch and post-launch optimization Partner with engineering teams to translate requirements into deliverable features and releases Define product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and delivery timelines Drive prioritization decisions balancing user impact, technical feasibility, and business goals Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with: Software engineering (Android, AI frameworks) UX/design Data science/AI teams Marketing and business stakeholders Lead cross-functional alignment and decision-making across global teams Ensure strong inter-group coordination and execution discipline AI & Innovation Focus Drive adoption of on-device AI technologies to enable real-time, efficient user experiences  Partner with engineering to integrate AI models, frameworks, and features into Motorola devices Identify opportunities to differentiate through AI in wearables, smartphones, and emerging form factors Customer & Market Insights Gather and synthesize customer insights, usage data, and feedback Conduct competitive analysis and benchmark Motorola experiences against industry leaders  Continuously improve product performance and user satisfaction Performance & Optimization Define and track KPIs (adoption, engagement, retention, feature success) Drive iterative improvements post-launch through data and experimentation Ensure continuous improvement of software experiences and timely updates Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience  Experience in software product management, preferably in mobile, wearables, or AI-driven products Strong understanding of Android platform and software development lifecycle Experience working with engineering teams on technical product delivery Proven ability to translate business needs into technical product requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI/ML products or on-device AI technologies Background in consumer electronics, mobile, or wearable ecosystems Experience launching global products across multiple markets Strong analytical background with data-driven decision-making Familiarity with AI model lifecycle concepts (training, deployment, optimization)  Key Competencies Strategic thinking and product vision Strong ownership and accountability for outcomes Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence Customer-first mindset Innovation and problem-solving orientation Ability to operate in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments Impact of the Role Drive next-generation AI experiences across Motorola’s mobile and wearable ecosystem Shape how AI enhances everyday user interactions Contribute to Motorola’s leadership in AI-powered consumer devices
