Adobe Express team is looking for an energetic, dynamic Web App engineer who can take it to the next level. The role is in the Imaging pillar in Adobe Express, responsible for delivering delightful experiences on mobile & web. Overall, during your work experience in Adobe Express, you will touch on every aspect of native/web development, and you will be able to experiment in every other area, learn from those experiences, and take them to the next level.
What you'll do · Responsible for the design and architecture of new components/features. Developing and proposing new features and fixing bugs. · Build and improve image editing capabilities, including rendering workflows, editing operations, and UI interactions related to image manipulation. · Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, well-documented and maintainable code. · Collaborate with architects, product management, and other engineering teams to build the technical vision and roadmap for the team. · As a unified engineer, you will be responsible for development, testing, automation, and full delivery of the same feature. · Leverage generative and agentic AI technologies to improve development efficiency, prototyping speed, and automation. · Build workflows that use AI to accelerate feature development, testing, and debugging while maintaining strong engineering validation standards. Required Qualifications · B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premier institute. · Must have 5-12 years of software design and development experience, preferably in a product development environment. · Experience in front-end web tech stack with strong hands-on experience in JavaScript/TypeScript. · Experience using generative AI or agentic development frameworks to improve engineering productivity and accelerate development workflows. · Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of design and performance of algorithms. Familiarity with operating systems, computer architecture, and OS internals. · Experience working on large codebases with complex architecture. · Strong understanding of performance optimisation, memory management, and system resource constraints. · Hands-on experience building or contributing to image editing or graphics-related applications is a preferred. Bonus Qualifications · Android and iOS app development · Proficiency in C, C++. · Experience with Web Assembly(WASM), advanced JavaScript APIs or WebGL.
